Access Consciousness
Access Consciousness™ is a personal development approach created in the 1990s by Gary Douglas, which seeks to facilitate the expansion of consciousness and personal empowerment through questions, tools, and energetic processes.
The central idea is that “your point of view creates your reality,” that is, the way we perceive and think about the world directly influences what we experience and the possibilities we see available to us.
Rather than offering fixed answers, Access Consciousness relies on open-ended questions designed to broaden perspective and open up new choices. Among its most popular tools are:
-
Access Bars®: An energetic technique that involves gently touching 32 points on the head related to different aspects of life (money, control, creativity, relationships, etc.) to release blockages and limiting patterns.
-
Verbal processes: questions and phrases that seek to challenge deeply held beliefs and open up space for new possibilities.
-
Energy body processes: practices that facilitate greater connection with the body and the release of tension or emotional memories.
In practice, many people use it as a complement to psychotherapy or coaching, as it encourages self-exploration, awareness, and conscious choice from a place of greater freedom and openness.
In a nutshell: Access Consciousness is a set of tools to invite you to let go of what limits you, recognize what you already know, and create your life from awareness and choice.
